Homebloom: Shared Chores is a chore app for couples. You share one chore list and grow a pet plant called Budley together. It is made by Suhendra Suhendra under the brand Aksaworks.

Delete your account

In the app, go to the Us tab, tap the gear for Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm.

This is what happens:

When: you leave the home now; your account is erased after 30 days. Sign in before then to keep it.

• You leave your home straight away and are signed out everywhere. Chores that were yours go back to “Anyone”.
• Chores you did stay in the home’s history, without your name.
• We email you once when you ask, and once more 3 days before the erasure.
• Sign in within the 30 days and you can keep your account, or choose “Continue deleting” to erase it immediately.

Can’t get into the app? Email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. More detail is in the privacy policy.

Questions

Can my partner see my email address?

No. The home shows your display name and colour, your chores and what you did. It does not show your email.

The sign-in email did not arrive, or the link does not work.

A sign-in link works once and expires after 15 minutes. Ask for a new one in the app and check your spam folder. Open the email on the phone where Homebloom is installed.

My partner’s invite link says it has expired.

Invite links last 7 days and the 6-character code lasts 24 hours. Ask your partner to send a fresh invite from the app.

What happens to my chores if I leave a home?

Chores that were yours go back to “Anyone” so your partner can pick them up. What you did stays in the home’s history.

I deleted my account and changed my mind.

Sign in within 30 days and choose to keep it. Your account comes back, but not your place in the old home. If you were the last person in that home, the app offers to bring it back, with Budley, within the same 30 days.
